Harrington Park Restaurant Review
The Banana Leaf Thai & Modern Asian Cuisine Restaurant is still in its early stages, having just opened in April at Harrington Plaza. Owner/manager Sarah is excited to broaden the local palate with a fresh menu full of flavours from regional Thailand.
When asked what prompted her to the restaurant business, she says, ‘I love creating menus and special new dishes, and I love to serve. I have a passion for Thai food and I want to share it.’
Having previously managed restaurants in both Gosford and Avalon, Sarah is no newcomer to the business. She chose Harrington Park because ‘as soon as I came here, I felt relaxed. It was a different community – so clean and well-designed with lots of trees. I was very impressed, and I wanted to bring a fresh flavour to the community.’
The Banana Leaf is open for dinner from Tuesday through to Sunday and offers a special weekend lunch menu. Call Sarah on 4648 1500 to make a reservation, or just pop in to experience a taste of Thailand.
