Proposed rail corridor and Harrington Grove

Transport NSW has released proposed guidelines for a rail corridor to extend the South West Rail Link from Leppington through to Oran Park and Narellan. The current proposal greatly impacts Harrington Grove residents.

Harrington Estates, the developer for Harrington Grove, supports the objective of improving public transport to the local area but only in a way that doesn’t impact residents.

Details of the proposed rail corridor:

Proposed stations:

Oran Park: would be next to the east of Oran Park town centre close to the proposed civic centre and medium density housing. It would include a bus interchange and the potential for a park and ride facility.

Narellan: would be about 120m west of the Camden Valley Way and Old Northern Road intersection, close to the expanding Narellan Town Centre. Would include a bus/rail interchange and a park and ride facility.

Other stations: to be at Rossmore, two kilometres west of Rossmore stabling yards, and Bringelly, less than one kilometre east of The Northern Road and about 50 to 60 metres north of Bringelly Road, and possibly Maryland as well.
