Telstra today announced plans to upgrade its Velocity fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network to peak speeds of 100Mbps - five times faster than the current peak speed, giving customers faster access to leading edge telecommunications services.

Speaking at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) National Congress in Brisbane, Ms Holly Kramer, Group Managing Director, Telstra Product Management, announced to Australia’s leading property developers that the Telstra Velocity fibre optic technology in new housing developments will be upgraded by Christmas in line with Telstra’s other broadband developments.
