Residents already agree that Harrington Grove is a magical place to live but the most recent award provides even stronger evidence. Harrington Grove has been named the best Masterplanned Community in NSW (2016) by the UDIA NSW | Meriton Awards for Excellence. The award recognises masterplanned developments that are self-sufficient and offer high standards of design. But most importantly, it is the sense of place and range of community facilities that are most sought in awarding this title.

This complements Harrington Grove’s award for Australian Residential Development of the Year (2014). The judges for that year’s Urban Development Institute of Australia Awards for Excellence noted the holistic approach and respect for the natural environment in Harrington Grove.

“The judges were particularly impressed by the overall quality of the development and attention to detail in every facet of the project. The restoration of bushland and creek lines and their integration with the residential precincts is exemplary," stated the award notes by the judges.

As summer draws to a close, residents all across Harrington Grove are singing the praises of the new Magnolia Club as a fabulous addition to the suite of Harrington Grove facilities.

The neighbourhood centre, located on the corner of Wingham Avenue and Forestgrove Drive, is another destination for Harrington Grove residents. Inside residents will find large communal seating areas, a kitchen, the Alfresco Room, and fireplaces to set the tone for the cooler months. Meanwhile, the outdoor facilities include a swimming pool with spa seats and swim jets, a tennis court, barbecues and picnic areas, all of which were frequently used over the summer months. The planned children’s playground will truly complete the Magnolia Club.

What could be better than spending hot summer days beside the refreshing pool, followed by a casual meal prepared on one of the barbecues and enjoyed at a picnic table? The attraction is not lost in winter either. It’s easy to imagine sitting in the comfort of the plush couches in front of the roaring fireplace while the wind and cold rage outside, a cup of tea in hand.

Early this month we welcomed the Easter holidays in a festive fashion with two fun-filled days of Easter activities. On Sunday 6 April, children came from all over Harrington Grove to create Easter baskets in preparation for the arrival of the Easter Bunny.
 
The Easter egg hunt the following weekend also proved to be a fantastic day for resident children as they scuffled to get as many eggs as possible.

The cooler autumn weather presents the perfect time to mix up your exercise regime and make use of Harrington Grove’s outdoor fitness stations.

Fitness stations are positioned along the Harrington Grove pathways and are designed to add variety to your daily exercise routine. For a well-balanced work out, combine a circuit of exercises featured at the stations with walking or jogging. Each fitness station contains a different range of equipment to help you focus on different areas such as strengthening, balance and agility.

It is important that residents have the facilities to conveniently exercise close to home. In conjunction with the well-equipped gym and network of pathways and cycleways, residents have plenty of options when it comes to achieving their very best in health and fitness.

Residents have been watching the progress of the Magnolia Club with great excitement and anticipation, counting down to the impending commencement of construction. Magnolia Club will not only be a fantastic place to meet and socialise with fellow residents, it will also be the ideal destination to celebrate special events with family and friends. In addition to the luxurious swimming pool for summer and cozy fireplace for the frosty winter months, Magnolia Club will also be home to:

• A full-sized tennis court
• Barbecue facilities
• Picnic areas 
• A croquet lawn
• Kitchenette and bathroom facilities

Magnolia Club will reflect the class, style and amenity of the Harrington Grove Country Club. It will be a warm and welcoming venue that is stylishly decorated to facilitate Harrington Grove’s residents. Magnolia Club is the first of two community neighbourhood centres to be built in Harrington Grove.
